We continue toward Xin Man, a lesser-known gem of Northern Vietnam, passing waterfalls, forested valleys, and rural farms. Upon arrival, check in and unwind in this quiet, authentic highland town.
We begin the day with a visit to the local market before tackling challenging mountain passes en route to Hoang Su Phi for lunch.
The afternoon brings one of the most thrilling sections of the tour—a 40km off-road ride through dense jungle as we cross the mighty Tay Con Linh Mountain Range. After reconnecting with the main road, we roll into Ha Giang, with time available for a quick visit to Ha Thanh Waterfall. Overnight in Ha Giang.

This is one of the most unforgettable days of the entire Ha Giang Loop. We conquer the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass—21km of jaw-dropping cliffs, towering limestone peaks, and deep river valleys. It’s widely regarded as the most beautiful road in Vietnam.
Our journey continues toward Bao Lac, a cultural crossroads known for its Sunday Market. Check in and relax in this remote, culturally rich town.

Spend the afternoon enjoying emerald waters, limestone karsts, hidden caves, and peaceful seascapes. Settle into your cabin and savor a relaxing evening on the bay.
Test Despite of the fact that Vietnamese government attempts to outlaw the practice, the US Dollars still acts as an alternative currency which is almost completely interchangeable with Vietnam Dong. Many prices, especially for hotels, tours and expensive restaurants, are still quoted in USD, though you can pay in dong if you’d rather - just check what exchange rate they’re using.
For everyday expenses, we recommend you carry a mix of US Dollars cash and Vietnam Dong. For larger items or when the exchange rate works in your favour, use dollars. For cyclos, local food stalls and small purchases, it’s best to use Vietnam Dong. In either case, make sure you always have a stock of small notes so that there is no need to worry about change.
