Embarking on the sixth day of our motorbike tour, we turn our compass towards the mesmerizing Bản Giốc waterfall, an international border waterfall of immense beauty. Fed by the Quây Sơn River, this serene flow commences in China, carving its path through dramatic karst mountains before unfurling into a series of majestic falls within Vietnam. This natural wonder extends its magnificence to both nations.
With the sun casting its enchantment, we delve into the splendor of Bản Giốc waterfall, a living testament to nature's artistry. The journey proceeds to a nearby pagoda, where a brief drive sets the stage for a rewarding ascent to a viewpoint. Behold the grand panorama, capturing the waterfall's entirety as it stretches into China and the Quây Sơn River.
Our exploration then leads us to Nguom Ngao Cave, a subterranean wonder spanning 2,700 meters, sculpted over eons. Within these depths, a spectacular array of stalagmites and stalactites create a unique tableau, found nowhere else in Vietnam. The resonating symphony of an underground stream cascading over rocks below offers insight into the cave's nickname - "Tiger Cave," a tribute from the local Tày people.
The day evolves as our motorbike journey propels us towards the tranquil embrace of Ba Bể Lake. The ever-changing landscapes, coupled with the hidden marvels that line the route, make this leg of the North Vietnam motorbike tour an immersive experience like no other.
