The KLX250 has an electric start, suitable for both pavement and the rough terrain. Progressively styled with a lightweight engine, a wide powerband and a high-tensile steel perimeter frame. Powering the KLX250 is a compact, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine displacing 249cc. The engine is mounted towards the bottom of the perimeter frame, delivering a low center of gravity.
