In Le Trung Hung's time around the 17th and 18th centuries, Trinh Lord built Ta Vong Dinh to be a summer resort. In 1883, after the French occupied Hanoi, a French colonial henchman believed that this was a good mound, if the ancestors' remains were buried there, their descendants would be connected as high-ranking officials. So in 1886, he had built Turtle Tower.

The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam was the very first university in Vietnam. In the place, there had been competitions to recruit talented people to find the right ones who can contribute to the development of the country.

The Temple of Literature was built in 1070 and was a place of worship of the saints and masters of the Confucianism, and a place to train the children of the royal lineage. But in 1566, King Ly Anh Tong revised the Temple of Literature and worshiped only Confucius. In 1076, Ly Nhan Tong built Quoc Tu Giam, recruited talented people and trained them.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, or the Uncle Ho Mausoleum - is the resting place of the great leader of the people of Vietnam. The mausoleum was officially started on September 2, 1973. This is the location of the old rostrum in the middle of Ba Dinh square - where Uncle Ho once read the declaration of independence in 1945.

The mausoleum consists of three layers with a height of 21.6 meters, the lower layer creates a three-step staircase, the middle layer is the central structure of the mausoleum including the corpse room and the corridors, the stairs. The West of the Square is the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Monument. There is also the Ho Chi Minh Museum, a small stilt house with very simple items, surrounded by aquariums, plowing gardens, coconut palms, hibiscus fences.
