Day 1: From Hanoi to Mai Chau
On the first day, you leave Hanoi and head North toward Mai Chau. On the way, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery with the beautiful complex of tiny islands, the surrounding forests, limestone mountain peaks and villages of minorities. In the afternoon, you arrive at Mai Chau, where you have some time to wander and see little town located in the deep valley of the towering mountains. After dinner, we can see firsthand a traditional Thai dance show.

Day 2: From Mai Chau to Son La
You head Weast to the Da River, enjoy the spectacular view of green tea plantation in Moc Chau, the waterfalls, the stunning lakes... You have a quick stop at Bac Yen for a bite and then head over the wild river bank and continue to the north, arrive at Son La at night.

Day 3: Son La to Than Uyen
You continue to ride, then arrive at the village of Black Thai and Dark Cave. After lunch, you ride on the winding road through the lush forests and sculpture rice terraces fields and then arrive at Than Uyen in the evening.
Day 4 and 5: Exploring Sa Pa
On the 4th day, you continue to go on the road toward Hoang Lien Son mountain range, visit the tribe villages of Dzao, H’mong, and Tay. You can sit on the O Ouy Ho Pass with the most heart-stopping panoramic views, then reach Sa Pa in the afternoon.

On the 5th day, you head to the center of Lao Cai province, visit the town of Bac Ha. You can also visit Lao Chai village on the mountaintops and be drawn into the enchanting overview of the Chay River. The sceneries here will surely make you awed.
Day 6: Head to Ha Giang
You begin the 6th day by visiting the local market, buy souvenirs, take pictures, then ride the motorbike through mountain passes. After lunch, you continue to Tay Con Linh mountain range. In the afternoon, you head 20 kilometers to Ha Giang. Depending on the time, you may even manage to enjoy and relax in the waterfall in Ha Thanh.
Day 7: Go to Dong Van
On the 7th day, you get to see the idyllic views of Quang Ba, Pho Bang that was built hundreds of years ago. You can also visit Vuong Palace, which is a fine demonstrator of European-Chinese architecture and is a pole of attraction to all architecturally-minded visitors. Our last stop is at Dong Van, where you sleep overnight.

Day 8: Exploring Dong Van, Meo Bac Town, Bao Lac
You will travel the whole 21 kilometers of Ma Pi Leng Pass to see why this is declared the most spectacular stretch of road in all of Vietnam. You then reach Bao Lac, where we stop for the day.
Day 9, 10 and 11: Exploring Ba Be Lake
You take a 6-hour ride to Ba Be lake and spend the night in a beautiful homestay and have delicious Tay’s traditional food and rice wine. Then you spend the next day exploring and relaxing among the peaceful, natural beauty of Ba Be Lake. You can see beautiful landscapes of mountains and forest, the waterfall in Ba Be national park. Then, stop at the Dau Dang waterfall to have lunch and swim! You can visit the An Ma temple and trek through the Ba Be rainforests and get the most amazing photos from on top of a nearby tower.
